It is SO important that we understand the Appointed Times of YHVH. They show us a picture of YHVH’s Plan and how He is accomplishing what He wants to do. YHVH did NOT just randomly choose days for His People to observe. They all fit precisely in place and each one has a purpose…even the time of year the Appointed Times are placed is important. He planned for every detail and then He revealed His Appointed Times to His People.
We walk through each step in His Plan every year as we observe the annual cycle. It is important that we observe the Appointed Times and it is also VERY important that we UNDERSTAND the Appointed Times. Many do not place much significance or importance to YHVH’s observances, yet He tells us to keep them throughout our generations. The events those observances point to have NOT all been fulfilled and some them have a future fulfillment yet to occur.
Our Abba does NOT ask us to do things without reason and when He commands us to observe His Appointments forever, we should pay attention. The more you understand about His Appointed Times, the more you realize how important it is to observe them as He has commanded. These are observances that He has set in place…not some days created and promoted by men. Are you not curious about the Appointed Times of YHVH?
Nothing man can conceive can come close to the incredible story the Appointed Times tell us. When we keep the Appointed Times and the weekly Shabbat, we are in harmony with the cycles that YHVH put into place. They always fall in the time of year that He wants them too, because He designed them that way. Everything contributes together to tell the story of what those days picture and represent.
If you do not understand the Appointed Times, you will never understand what YHVH is doing, why He is doing it and how He is accomplishing it…
1 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, and say to them, ‘The appointed times of יהוה, which you are to proclaim as set-apart gatherings, My appointed times, are these:
Always, seek the truth…rethink, relearn, return.
