When you are full of a rebellious nature, you are unable to put others before yourself, because self ALWAYS comes first. It is a sad thing to live a life of self servitude. Rebellion is born of pride and pride does not and cannot submit to anything or anyone.

Pride is singular, there is NO room for anyone else…it must be in control and on top. Rebellion is the action of pride maintaining possession and position. Rebellion will come against anything and anyone that seeks to put pride into remission and seeks to protect and maintain self will at all costs.

YHVH HATES pride and rebellion, because they divide and separate…they seek to control and manipulate. How can one who is in rebellion be His when they are displaying the character that He detests?

YHVH REJECTED Saul because of his pride and rebellion…he lost his reign and his position as sovereign. The parallel is clear…we stand to lose all that YHVH would give us if we continue to feed our pride, stand in rebellion and refuse to submit ourselves to Him.

Pride begins small and slowly spreads throughout us until we are fully leavened and can no longer see ourselves for who we are, because pride blinds us and rebellion controls our actions. We convince ourselves we are in the right and refuse correction, because rebellion has settled in and taken over.

1 Samuel 15:23
23 “For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and stubbornness is as wickedness and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of יהוה, He also does reject you as sovereign.”

The last ones to see pride and rebellion are those who are consumed by them. What will it take for them to submit and humble themselves to YHVH and to one another? Rejection?

Always, seek the truth…rethink, relearn, return.
